Les Amies

Gregory and Catherine have been visiting since last Sunday afternoon. We have had many lovely dinners with them. Angela has been working during the day, but Guillaume was able to take some time to spend with them.

Greg likes to walk a lot. Catherine doesn't mind the walk, but she likes to stop every once in a while. Guillaume will walk for a while, and then he leaves them to play around the city, so he can go home becaus, really, it's a very long walk. He's like the Forrest Gump of walkers.

Usually the dinners have been made at home, and have been delicious (except when Angela was in charge of just taking the chicken off the grill before it burned... the asparagus was good, though). They did go out one night to the Top of the Hub, which is a restaurant on the top floor of the Prudential building.

They got to the top when the sun was still up. Then, the sun sat as they did, and the sky turned all different shades of orange, red and purple. The lights of the city blinked on, and it was a beautiful night.

Once the food came to the table (which was more difficult to do that one would think), it was good.

Guillaume enjoyed his lamb shank.

Gregory and Catherine were a little taken aback by his new eating style...

Now Greg and Catherine are in New York City for a few days. Fortunately, the weather will be good for them. So far in Boston it has been pretty nice. They return late Sunday night, and Angela and Guillaume will take them to the airport on Monday afternoon. It seems like a short visit, but Angela knows that Guillaume is so happy that his friends are here for now.
And he knows that he has more friends and family visiting soon, and they are both very happy about that.
Gros bisous.

2 Years!

Angela can hardly believe it's been two years since her heart arrived in America.

She remembers the drive to New York City, with her heart beating with excitement. She remembers seeing Guillaume walking through the airport doors, overloaded with his bags. She remembers being filled with joy. And she still is.
